Halloween Pumpkins

 

Pumpkin carving is one of the best, and messiest, things about Halloween. This year both of the boys were old enough to design their pumpkin and we cut them out. Max and Riley thought the insides were super yucky and didn't really want to touch the "guts".  We saved the seeds to toast in two batches, one spicy chipotle salt and one plain sea salt. Everyone's pumpkins turned out cool. I can't wait to see them lit up with candles.
