Cuboree 2012

 

On Saturday Jered and Max went to the 2012 Cuboree at Kent State park. It was cold outside and they were glad they packed warm soup and hot chocolate for lunch. The boys built pop bottle rockets and launched them. They went fishing, but didn't catch anything. After that the cubs went inside to warm up had a matchbox vs hotwheels car race. (Max's car came in fourth!) They finished the day with archery practice.

 



Pinewood Derby

So tonight was Max's Pinewood Derby race for Cub scouts. He won 3rd place for design and his car came in 7th. The crazy thing is he started building his car at 4:00pm today and the race was at 6:00pm. Nothing like waiting to the last minute!

Cubscouts First Outing

The boys went on their first "Go see it" today at Hickory Hill park. Everyone went on a hike and did a nature scavenger hunt. The weather was nice and cool and everyone had a good time!
