Almost 10 monthes
Riley is growing so fast! He is thoughtful and quiet, but happy. His daddy is the only one who can make him laugh all the time. He is walking everywhere and likes to eat new foods. Mostly he loves being with Max. Riley loves music and when Jered plays guitar for him. He thinks TV is weird. He really likes taggies and strings. Bathtime is his favorite and loves having his hair brushed. Riley likes to look at books and being read to. He is my little cuddler.

Riley - Four Monthes
Riley had his four month appointment yesterday. Dr. Amy says he is doing very well. He is 27 inches tall, 17 1/2 lbs, 41 cm head, and has two little teeth bottom front! He hated his shots this time and let everyone know. Here is a picture of Riley smiling - which is hard to get a picture of since he isn't too sure about cameras and flashes.

Riley - One Month
Riley is one month old today! It's hard to believe that time has already passed so quickly. Riley is doing well, staying up more in the day and sleeping longer at night. He is eating all the time so we figure he must be at least 8 lbs by now. His next doctor's appointment isn't until January so we will have to wait until then.

Tanning already
We had to stay in the hospital for an extra day because he was a bit jaundice. The lights did their job well and he got a nice tan.

Riley Jackson Dieter
He is here! Born on 11-16-2009 at 3:36 pm - 7 lbs 9 oz - 21 inches tall, all boy! Labor was a short 5 hours and 3 pushes so you couldn't ask for better. I'm glad I listened to Jered when he said we had better get to the hospital. Riley is doing well - Mom and Dad are tired but figuring it out. Max is so happy - he loves his new brother. He can't stop kissing him. So cute. We will see how he feels when he starts taking his toys...

Rockwell Baby Shower
My office had a baby shower for me and they went all out! They made this huge diaper cake and bought me all sorts of cute baby things and more diapers. So it seems like we have everything we need - except for Ryley to pick his birthday...

Baby shower for Brynna and Sully
Last weekend Max and I went to Ames to go to a baby shower for Brynna and Baby Sullivan (who is due on the 22nd of November). It was great fun seeing everyone and Max enjoyed playing with his cousins. Jo made some awesome pumpkin muffins and soups. Enjoy the pictures!

First Pictures
So here is the baby's first photos and it's a boy! Max is super excited because he really wanted another boy in the family. We have decided to name him Ryley, but we are still unsure of a middle name. Ryley wouldn't give us a good side view face picture - but we got a couple good ones of his huge feet! (Just like his big brother!)He looks very healthy and is estimated at weighing a pound already. Now we just have to wait until November.

Aren't I Cute
Max is doing so well at feeding himself. Sometimes he doesn't want anyone to help him do it. He is a good eater and eats just about anything you put in front of him.

Christmas Time
Max at Christmas time at Grandma and Grandpa Pregitzer's home. Max got many toys this year and probably every year from now on. He was just starting to walk this Christmas so he was getting into everything!
